This Covid is a nasty bastard, it’s such an evil beast.

However, on my Covid app: “Great news you are released!”

Released into what though? We’re still in a lockdown,

So we can’t have a coffee or a drink when we’re in town.

 

Let’s look forward to the time a vaccine will be found,

So we we’ll all be released enough to simply get around.

In the meantime, the NHS, who’ve all been truly brill,

Are still there for everyone who may be feeling ill.

 

The NHS really are the heroes in our Nation,

This has always been the case since their first creation.

The pressures they are under, the risks they take for us,

Let’s try to help to keep them safe and just not make a fuss.

 

As a word if warning, if you’re not feeling well,

You really need to make a call, a doctor you must tell.

Like if you have the effing C or worry that you may,
